The 2023 Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Competition has closed to submissions, and consideration is now underway.
This year’s judge is National Book Award and PEN/Hemingway finalist—and All-Story contributor—Jamil Jan Kochai. The top-three honorees will receive cash prizes, and the top ten will be considered for representation by leading literary agencies. The winning story will be published as a special online supplement to the Spring 2024 edition of the magazine.
Thanks sincerely to everyone who entered this year; we appreciate the opportunity to read your work. Watch for results to be announced December 15!
