On May 4, we joined forces with our pals at City Lights to celebrate our good friend and past contributor Barry Gifford at Canessa Gallery in North Beach. All-Story editors Michael and Anne Ray—along with Julie Lindow, Peter Maravelis, and the author himself—read from Barry’s Writers, now out in paperback, and attendees were additionally treated to cocktails by Sir Maravelis and music by Sheldon Brown.
