Juman Malouf was born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1975 and raised in London. She received a BA in fine arts and art history from Brown University and an MFA in set and costume design from Tisch School of the Arts. She has designed and illustrated for theater, film, and print in the United States and Europe. She established and designed the clothing label Charlotte Corday. She wrote and illustrated a novel, The Trilogy of Two, and cocurated a show at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, and the Fondazione Prada, Milan. She is working on her second illustrated book.
