“No matter how many times I read your confession, there’s one thing I just don’t understand: Why didn’t you kill the woman?”
     The prosecutor says this, it’s always the same, always the same question, I don’t want to answer that question, the bald old court-appointed lawyer has asked it about ten thousand times, he says if I talk my punishment will be lighter, but no one would understand, how could they, I don’t even understand it so well myself.
