Philip Gourevitch

Philip Gourevitch is a staff writer at The New Yorker. His first book, We Wish To Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families: stories from Rwanda (1998), has received numerous awards, including The National Book Critics Circle Award, the Los Angeles Times Book Award, the George Polk Award, and -- in London -- the Guardian First Book. He is a Contributing Editor of the Forward and a Senior Fellow at the World Policy Institute. He has reported for Granta, Harper's, Outside, and The New York Review of Books. His fiction has appeared in Ambit, Gulf Coast, The Quarterly, Southwest Review, Story and Zoetrope: All-Story.
