Jonathan Nolan is an Academy Award–nominated writer who was born in London and raised in the Chicago area. He wrote the short story “Memento Mori”—the basis for the critically acclaimed film Memento, directed by his brother Christopher Nolan—and cowrote screenplays for The Prestige and The Dark Knight.
