Cindy Dale's stories have appeared in The Potomac Review, The South Carolina Review, The Amherst Review, Turnstile, The Bridge, Reed, and other journals. Several of her stories have been included in anthologies, and she was the recipient of a Fiction Fellowship from the Edward F. Albee Foundation.

By day, Cindy is a partner at an eMarketing consulting firm (www.cullendale.com). She lives in West Gilgo Beach, NY with her husband, son, daughter, cat, and dog. Cindy has completed a collection of stories and is at work on a novel. She can be reached via e-mail: Thedales@aol.com.

Jim Nichols has published short fiction in numerous magazines - including Esquire, paris transcontinental, The Clackamas Review, River City and Portland Monthly - and has won several awards and competitions, including the 2000 Willamette Fiction Prize. His story collection, entitled The Slow Monkeys, will be published in Spring 2002 by Carnegie Mellon Press.
