Besides reading and writing, his hobbies include: listening to obnoxious music, watching baseball, cooking, and agreeing wholeheartedly with his wife, Shannon, while he's sprawled on the sofa, that the two of them really need to get more exercise. He found that he could relate far too well to Little Chandler's reverie in Joyce's story "A Little Cloud," and that has compelled him to be more persistent about writing. He lives in Denton, Texas.
