BRAD LYONN is a writer of fiction and screenplays. Other interests include fifties era cars, boats, and the open two-lane road. He lives in a state of denial regarding reality, preferring the security of fiction. Brad's interest in fiction was facilitated by his skill in lying -- fiction being the only honorable form of that art. He currently resides in California, taking advantage of those two-lane roads through the back country. He credits his inspiration for 'A Bite out of Time to (most likely) a very bad bowl of chili followed by a feverish sleepless night. Brushes with various characters not unlike those in the story provided an insight into their motivations. He has visited Puerto Vallarta and has walked upon the bank of that river mentioned in A Bite out of Time -- he did not see Ameerah, however. This is his first published story. blyonn@mailcity.com.
